Police say three elderly Mennonite women were tied up and attacked with a stun gun during a violent home invasion near Lancaster, Pa.
The suspect posed as an insurance salesman to gain access into the Clay township home on Friday, according to investigators.
Police say the man raged against the women's faith in a hate-filled attack, ransacking the house, pouring chemicals on the floors and furniture.
The suspect wasn't done there. Authorities say at one point, he read passages from the women's Bible before vandalizing it, claiming that he himself was once a Mennonite.
He then fled with cash and other valuables.
The victims, between 84 and 90 years old, were found several hours later by a relative.
They remain hospitalized.
